Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves is a 1997 comedy film that follows the eccentric inventor Wayne Szalinski as he once again puts his infamous shrink machine to use. This time, Wayne faces a predicament when his wife Diane asks him to get rid of a large tiki sculpture called the Tiki Man. Refusing to part with it, Wayne decides to shrink it down to pocket-size using his machine.
However, things take a turn for the worse when the shrink ray is accidentally activated, shrinking Wayne and his brother Gordon in the process. To make matters even more complicated, Gordon's wife Patty and Diane decide to surprise the men by sneaking into the attic, only to be shrunk themselves.
Now, the tiny team must navigate their way through their own house, which has become a dangerous and thrilling adventure as they encounter household insects the size of dinosaurs. Their main goal is to capture their children's attention and find a way to return to their normal size.
