One year after the events of "Kickboxer: Vengeance", Kurt Sloan has vowed never to return to Thailand. In Kickboxer: Retaliation Kurt Sloan, one year after the events of Kickboxer: Vengeance, is determined never to return to Thailand. However, his plans are derailed when he is drugged and sent back to Thailand, this time to prison. Kurt discovers that the people behind this plan want him to fight a formidable opponent named Mongkut, who is 6'8 and weighs 400 lbs.
