In the suburban town of En djävul till granne, there resides a peculiar family known as the Klopeks. Their gothic-like house catches the attention of their neighbor Ray Peterson and his friends, causing them to speculate about their odd behaviors. However, their curiosity intensifies when a elderly neighbor named Walter Selznick suddenly disappears.
Ray and his friends suspect that the Klopeks may have had something to do with Walter's disappearance, believing that they may have even killed him. As tensions rise, Ray finds himself in an ambulance due to a medical emergency, during which he encounters Dr. Werner Klopeks. Dr. Klopeks reveals a sinister truth to Ray - the Klopeks intended to sell the neighboring Knapps' house but were met with refusal. In a shocking turn of events, Dr. Klopeks discloses that the Klopeks not only killed the Knapps but also cannibalistically devoured their remains.
As Ray and his friends grapple with this horrifying revelation, the Klopeks are eventually apprehended by the authorities, putting an end to their reign of terror.
