In the isolated mountain town of Pleasant Springs, five strangers find themselves entangled in a web of suspicion and fear when a masked murderer begins targeting the residents. Among the group are newlyweds who are actually serial killers, a depressed and suicidal police officer, and two young runaways with a mysterious secret. As the townspeople panic and accuse each other, the group realizes they must work together to survive.
The newlyweds, Paul and Laura, appear as a normal couple on the surface but secretly take pleasure in killing.
