Set in a quaint Southern town, Dark Night of the Scarecrow follows the story of four vigilantes who wrongly target and kill a mentally-challenged man. Despite being acquitted by the court, the vigilantes find themselves being inexplicably targeted by a series of mysterious and deadly accidents. As they are picked off one by one, the townspeople begin to suspect that the spirit of the innocent man they murdered may be seeking justice.
With tension and paranoia rising, the remaining vigilantes must confront their guilt and fear as they try to unravel the truth behind the string of tragic events befalling them.
