Details
The Rock is an action-packed thriller that follows a mild-mannered chemist, Dr. Stanley Goodspeed, and an ex-con, John Mason, as they team up to prevent a devastating nerve gas attack on San Francisco. A group of rogue military men, led by a renegade General, have taken control of Alcatraz Island and plan to launch the deadly attack from there.
Dr. Goodspeed, a chemical weapons specialist, is reluctantly chosen to accompany a Navy SEAL team led by Commander Anderson and Mason, who holds valuable information about the secret whereabouts of stored chemical weapons. As they infiltrate Alcatraz, the team faces numerous challenges and dangerous encounters.
Meanwhile, the government faces a dilemma. With limited time, they must decide whether to trust Mason, a man convicted of treason, in order to save the city from catastrophe. With tensions rising, the team races against the clock and faces unexpected twists and turns.
