While on their way to Las Vegas for a bachelor party, Kayla, her sister Melissa, and Melissa's fiancé Bobby decide to make a pit stop at a gas station. Kayla plans to meet her internet date, Nik, at the station. Despite Bobby's protest, Nik convinces Kayla to take a secondary road.
Unfortunately, their car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Desperate to get to their destination, they stumble upon a house and decide to take the car parked in its garage. Their plan is to reach the next city and then return with a rental car to repay the damages caused by Nik. Melissa leaves her cell phone number as a promise.
However, their luck takes a dark turn when they realize that the owner of the house is a sadistic truck driver known as Rusty Nail. As they try to escape, they find themselves trapped in a horrifying game of cat and mouse with Rusty Nail.
