Thirty-one year old Trish McTavish works in the public relations department of Los Angeles based Sunny Day Lemonade, she and her colleague Karl Wallace who search for opportunities to overturn the laws that prevent children from setting up lemonade stands, in the process they, as the corporate entity, receiving public good will for their brand.

Piper moves to New York for a fresh start and meets Austin, a jaded writer. Together, they experience autumn in the city and try to figure out who they're truly meant to be.

It follows Athena. She moves to Los Angles to jumpstart her writing career. Single and working for a dating company, she's going on new dates under the alias of Amy and becomes so comfortable that she no longer knows how to date as Athena.
