Details
In the late 19th century, a strict religious community in a Danish village opens its doors to Babette, a French refugee from the Franco-Prussian War. She becomes a servant to the daughters of the late pastor, Filippa and Martine. Filippa and Martine live a devout and austere life, following the teachings of their father.
Babette's arrival brings a ray of light and culinary excellence into their lives.
