Details
In the movie Cats in the Museum (2023), a young cat named Vincent embarks on an exhilarating adventure alongside his trusty mouse companion, Maurice. Faced with a devastating flood, Vincent and Maurice seek refuge in an old harpsichord which, by a stroke of luck, is discovered by sailors and transported all the way to St. Petersburg. Eventually, the harpsichord finds its home in the prestigious Hermitage museum.
Within the walls of the Hermitage, Vincent encounters an exclusive group of feline defenders whose primary duty is to safeguard the precious artworks from mice and other pests. Despite his longing to find a genuine cat family, Vincent is hesitant to leave behind the loyal friend who once saved his life. This becomes even more complicated when it becomes evident that Maurice possesses a peculiar inclination for nibbling on masterpieces.
As the plot unfolds, the situation escalates with the arrival of one of the world's most renowned paintings, the Mona Lisa. Unbeknownst to Vincent, Maurice, and the feline guardians of the Hermitage, a devious plan to steal the masterpiece is set into motion. Vincent must now summon all his resourcefulness and bravery to protect both the revered artwork and the museum's honor, all while also vying for the affection of a captivating cat named Cleopatra from the Egyptian exhibit.
