In Deadfall, after a casino robbery goes wrong, siblings Addison (Eric Bana) and Liza (Olivia Wilde) find themselves on the run. Separated during their escape, they both make their way through the snowy wilderness in search of shelter. Meanwhile, Jay (Charlie Hunnam), an ex-convict on parole, is traveling to his parents' house for Thanksgiving. Jay's parents, retired sheriff Becker (Kris Kristofferson) and his wife June (Sissy Spacek), are eagerly awaiting his arrival. However, their peaceful holiday is disrupted when Addison and Liza cross paths with them.
As the tension rises, Addison becomes more dangerous, leaving a trail of violence in his wake. Liza, on the other hand, finds solace in Jay and sparks begin to fly between them. The dysfunctional gathering takes an unexpected turn when secrets are revealed, and everyone's lives are put in danger.
