Drag Me to Hell (2009) is a thrilling supernatural horror film that follows the life of Christine Brown, a loans officer at a bank who is plagued by her anxieties about her career and personal life. Christine is in a fierce competition with a colleague for a promotion and is unsure about her relationship status with her boyfriend. In a bid to prove herself and maintain her tough image, she refuses to grant a time extension on a loan to an elderly woman named Mrs. Ganush, who is facing foreclosure on her home.
Little does Christine know, Mrs. Ganush possesses dark, supernatural powers, and she retaliates by placing a curse on Christine that will result in her condemnation to hell in just a few days. Now desperate to break free from this terrifying curse, Christine seeks the help of a psychic who advises her on how to rid herself of the demonic forces that are after her soul. However, Christine soon discovers that escaping her fate won't come easy as she faces numerous terrifying hurdles along the way.
