Once known as Sin City, McCarthy is now an isolated refuge for those who don't want to be found, surrounded by extreme wilderness. Tradition clashes with transformation as some residents believe in preserving the town's frontier way of life, while others believe modernization is the key to its future.
Originally built during the Gold Rush in 1900, McCarthy was a vibrant city, but now only 42 people brave the extreme conditions to live in this secluded Old West town.
