Erased (2012) follows the story of Ben Logan, an expatriate and secret agent who, after moving to Antwerp with his daughter Amy, uncovers a sinister plot within the technology corporation he works for. A broken security code from a device leads Ben to discover that the patent is unrecorded, prompting him to raise his concerns with his boss, Derek Kohler. However, when Ben and Amy return to his office, they find it completely empty, along with all records of his communication and finances.

Unexpectedly, Ben and Amy are abducted by a coworker at a bank, forcing Ben to defend himself by killing the assailant. This violent encounter ultimately leads Ben to discover a key that unlocks a locker at the Central Station, uncovering photos of himself, Amy, and his coworkers.
