Grabbers is a thrilling sci-fi comedy set on the picturesque Aran Island in Ireland. When police officer Lisa Nolan arrives on the island to take charge during a colleague's vacation, she unwittingly finds herself in the middle of a terrifying alien invasion. Strange events start to unfold as dead whales wash up on the shore and locals mysteriously disappear.
As the danger becomes apparent, Lisa and a small group of officers and residents uncover a surprising defense against the blood-thirsty aliens - high blood alcohol levels. It turns out that the sea-dwelling creatures cannot tolerate elevated levels of alcohol in their victims' blood. With a storm approaching that will bring hungry hatchlings to the island, the unlikely heroes band together to survive.
With an open bar as their weapon of choice, the inebriated police and their friends embark on a desperate bid for survival. As they battle the alien invasion in their intoxicated state, they must try to stay conscious long enough to protect themselves and thwart the aliens' plans.
Grabbers is a hilarious and action-packed film that combines suspense, humor, and a unique twist on the alien invasion genre. As the characters navigate their way through the chaos, viewers will be on the edge of their seats, laughing and cheering for their favorite heroes.
