Details
House of Jericho (2003) is a psychological mystery thriller directed by Alberto Sciamma. Leonard Grey, the superintendent of the apartment building Jericho Mansions, has been dedicated to his role for thirty years. However, Leonard suffers from agoraphobia, amnesia, and is generally slow. Despite his disabilities, he spends his leisure time building a complex bridge with clips.
When Lily Melnick, the owner of Jericho Mansions, loses her husband and receives a call from her sister in Europe, she turns against Leonard. Lily attempts to frame him as a thief in order to get him fired or arrested by the police. However, many of the building's residents appreciate Leonard and he continues to work there.
Things take a dark turn when Bill Cherry, the husband of the building's masseuse Donna Cherry and lover of Dolores O'Donell, is murdered in Jericho Mansions one night. The police launch an investigation, considering several suspects including Dolores's betrayed husband Eugene, Lily, and Leonard himself.
As the investigation unfolds, it becomes clear that Jericho Mansions holds a sinister secret. The mystery deepens as the police delve into the lives and relationships of the building's residents, uncovering shocking revelations.
