In Pom Poko, a group of magical shape-shifting raccoon dogs, known as tanuki, must band together to protect their beloved forest from being destroyed by urban development. As construction encroaches upon their habitat, the tanuki face the daunting task of finding a way to save their home and preserve their way of life.
