In the movie Rage (2014), Paul Maguire is a reformed criminal who has turned his life around and is now a successful businessman in the construction industry. He is happily married to his wife Vanessa and they have a loving relationship with their sixteen-year-old daughter, Caitlin.
One night, Paul and Vanessa attend a dinner party, leaving Caitlin at home with her friends Mike and Evan. However, their evening takes a horrific turn when Detective Peter St. John interrupts their dinner to inform them that Caitlin has been kidnapped and her friends have been injured.
