In Space Jam, Swackhammer, the owner of the amusement park planet Moron Mountain, is in desperate need of new attractions. He sets his sights on the Looney Tune characters and sends his underlings to bring them to him, whether they like it or not. Bugs Bunny, the quick-witted and resourceful leader, must come up with a plan to outsmart their captors.
Bugs Bunny tricks the underlings into agreeing to a competition to determine their freedom. Knowing that their adversaries are small and weak, the Looney Tunes gang chooses basketball as the game of choice. Little do they know, the underlings, now called the Nerdlucks, have a trick up their sleeves. They steal the talents of leading professional basketball stars and transform into massive basketball bruisers known as the Monstars.
