The story begins with Mahmod's decision to change his name, adopting a more Swedish-sounding one. Determined to further solidify his new identity, he goes to great lengths to acquire a Volvo, the quintessential Swedish car. Not stopping there, Mahmod decides to enhance his physical appearance by wearing blue contact lenses, hoping they will fool others into believing he is Swedish.
