The Legend of Korra takes place in a world where people can bend the elements of water, earth, fire, and air. The story follows Korra, the new Avatar after Aang, a fearless and rebellious teenage girl from the Southern Water Tribe. Korra has already mastered three elements and now seeks to learn airbending, the final element.
Korra's quest leads her to Republic City, a bustling metropolis fueled by steampunk technology. It is a melting pot where benders and non-benders from all nations live together. However, Korra soon discovers that Republic City is not as harmonious as it seems, as it is plagued by crime and an anti-bending revolution.
Under the guidance of Tenzin, Aang's son, Korra begins her airbending training while also facing the dangers that threaten Republic City. As she navigates through the city, Korra must confront the growing tensions between benders and non-benders and find a way to restore peace.
