The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) takes viewers back to August 1939 when a worker dies during a complicated labor in a slaughterhouse. The worker's deformed child miraculously survives and is abandoned in a garbage container. The baby is discovered by a beggar and taken home. Raised by the Hewitt family, the mentally disturbed and physically afflicted Thomas faces numerous challenges. As a young man, Thomas, now working in a meat packing plant, experiences a horrifying encounter that drives him into a murderous rage.
In July 1969, the Hewitt family is forced to leave their home when the facility shuts down. Thomas, now known as Sheriff Hoyt, assumes the identity of the sheriff he killed and continues his reign of terror. Eric, Dean, Christie, and Bailey find themselves at the mercy of Sheriff Hoyt when they get into a car accident. Hoyt captures Eric, Dean, and Bailey and takes them to his house. Christie, determined to rescue her friends, embarks on a journey into horror and gore, facing sadistic and cannibalistic adversaries.
