In the movie You Again, Marni, a once tormented girl, is now a successful woman with a good job. However, her past comes back to haunt her when she discovers that her brother is marrying Joana, the mean head cheerleader who used to torment her in high school.
Marni wants Joana to apologize for her past actions, but Joana pretends not to remember what she did. Marni confides in her mother, Gail, who advises her to move on. However, things take an unexpected turn when Gail meets Joana's aunt Mona, who turns out to be her old high school friend Ramona.
Gail is unaware of why they had a falling out, but she feels that Mona is trying to flaunt her success in her face. Meanwhile, Marni discovers that Joana does remember her and decides to expose her to her brother.
