In Lilla Jönssonligan På Styva Linan (1997), set in the late 1950s during summer holidays, a funfair visits Wall-ragnar's school. Nikki, the main character, devises a plan to obtain many freebies from the fair. However, their plan takes an unexpected turn when Nikki and his friends come across some shady characters within the fair.
One of the characters they encounter is an artist who performs a dangerous cannonball act. Additionally, they come across a sword swallower and a clown who are involved in dubious activities.
